Wolwich murder suspect Michael Adebolajo, Appear in Court today, insist he should be addressed 'Mujahid Abu Hamza'

Woolwich murder suspect Michael Adebolajo has appeared in court accused of murdering Drummer Lee Rigby.
Dressed in all white with his left arm heavily bandaged, the 28 year old was in the dock flanked by two police officers and a prison guard, and asked to be called Mujahid Abu Hamza.
As he arrived in the courtroom he pointed to the ceiling and kissed a copy of the Koran he gripped throughout the 12-minute hearing at Westminster Magistrates' Court.
He also appeared to smile and blow a kisses to a man in the public gallery, before he was forced to stand in the dock, having initially refused.

After trying to make several interruptions, he was remanded in custody and will next appear at the Old Bailey within 48 hours.
Earlier he was swept into court in an armoured vehicle led by a police convoy.
A number of armed officers formed a ring of steel in central London and shut off the roads leading to the court.

Michael Douglas in shock revelation

ACTOR Michael Douglas has revealed his life-threatening cancer was caused by oral sex.

In a candid confession, the Basic Instinct star said he was told his throat cancer was triggered after he contracted the human papillomavirus (HPV) — the most common form of sexually transmitted disease.

It had been widely thought the 68-year-old Hollywood star’s years of drinking and smoking were to blame for the stage four cancer, which was first diagnosed in 2010.

But in a new interview Douglas — married since 2000 to British actress Catherine Zeta Jones, 43 — said oral sex had caused the disease.

Asked if he now regretted his years of smoking and drinking, he replied: “No. Because without wanting to get too specific, this particular cancer is caused by HPV, which actually comes about from cunnilingus.”

He went on to say that oral sex was also the best cure — a claim doctors deny.

Douglas, currently starring as gay showman Liberace in Behind The Candelabra, was diagnosed with mouth cancer when doctors spotted a tumour the size of a walnut on his tongue — after other specialists had missed it.

He lost more than 45lbs following chemotherapy and radiation treatment — but has been cancer-free for two years.

Competent government sources confirmed to Vanguard, yesterday, that Governor Al-Makura was interested in a second term although he had served notice in 2011 to do just four years and hand over to an Eggon politician, since the area has never tasted the governorship seat in the 16 years of the state’s existence.
According to findings, Eggon, which are mostly Christians and constitute the dominant ethnic race in the state, are found in all the LGAs of Nasarawa State but they feel politically marginalised by successive administrations.
The latest attack by the Ombatse, which is said to have emerged as a ‘private army’ to protect the political and social interests of the Eggon, was believed to have been carried out to send “appropriate message” to the governor that the ‘Eggon time has come’ to take over from him.
Senator Solomon Ewuga, an Eggon politician, who backed Al-Makura to emerge as governor on the Congress for Progressive Change, CPC, platform in 2011, said in an interview that it was wrong for the governor to repudiate on his vow to serve only a term and give the chance to an Eggon.
According to the lawmaker, “These are the very people who have voted consistently in every election to support or remove one government or the other. The present governor, Al-Makura, is a beneficiary of Eggon vote and not their violence,” the lawmaker pointed out.
“The governor told me he wanted to come back for a second term but I reminded him of his promise to do just one term but he asked me if we had an agreement he was going to hand over to me and I said no but that he had promised the people to do a term during and after his inauguration”.

US seizes Alamieyeseigha’s $700k home

The Maryland, United States home of former Bayelsa state governor, Diepreye Alamieyeseigha has been forfeited to the US government following the approval by a federal judge of the Justice Department’s forfeiture order.
The Wall Street Journal reported that the forfeiture on the $700,000 Rockville, Maryland house was executed Friday after U.S District Judge Roger W. Titus granted the Justice Department’s motion for default judgment against the property. The Justice Department said the house belonged to Diepreye Peter Solomon Alamieyeseigha, who was Bayelsa governor between 1999 and 2005.
According to prosecutors, Alamieyeseigha’s assets were the proceeds of corruption. Alamieyeseigha has previously denied the allegations in court filings. A lawyer for Alamieyeseigha could not be immediately reached for comment.
